On 28 May 2024,Seal 06 DM-i, a new mid-sized car of BYD Ocean, was officially launched.The new car uses the fifth generation of DM-i technology and is available in two pure electric range versions of 80 km and 120 km.Body sizes are 4830 mm (length), 1875 mm (width), 1495 mm (height), with a wheelbase of 2790 mm. 16 inch, 17 inch and 18 inch rims are available. The front design integrates the diversion fins and the "big mouth" front grille, the side of the car adopts the semi-hidden door handle, the rear light group adopts the through-through design, the light shell is blackened.
The Seal 06 DM-i is equipped with a through-through taillight with a redesigned interior with a light-emitting "BYD" logo. The rear surrounding shape echoes the front, and the diffuser design and the body color trim are also added. It is reported that the car will be available in four colors: Qinhai Green, warm smoke tea, Atlantis gray, and Snow White.
In terms of endurance, the car is equipped with two specifications of lithium iron phosphate blade batteries with a capacity of 10.08 KWH and 15.874 KWH, and the corresponding pure electric range under CLTC conditions is 80 kilometers and 120 kilometers, respectively, and the comprehensive fuel consumption of 100 kilometers fed under NEDC conditions is 2.9 liters and 3.08 liters, respectively. At the same time, the 120km model provides 22 kW DC fast charge and 6.6 kW AC slow charge (7 kW household charging pile is provided with the car), and the 80km model only provides 3.3 kW AC slow charge.
In terms of configuration, Seal 06 DM-i provides original ETC, 6 airbags, rear outlet, tire pressure monitoring and other functions. 120 km model added panoramic sunroof, DiPilot driver assistance system, remote airbag, passenger seat 4-way electric adjustment, car tachorecorder; The top model provides 8 speaker system, ventilation/heating of the front seats, 8-way electric adjustment of the main seat + memory, induction wipers, PM2.5 green cleaning system, etc.
