This groundbreaking model showcases a fusion of cutting-edge interior and exterior design elements characteristic of the Dynasty series and is powered by BYD's state-of-the-art fifth-generation DM hybrid technology.
In the realm of aesthetics, the Song L DM-i embraces the latest family design ethos. The front fascia, reminiscent of the acclaimed Qin L DM-i, features sleek, elongated headlights linked by sophisticated silver panels. Below the polygonal air intake grille, the interior boasts an intricate lattice-style silver trim with strategic air intakes on either side. The front perimeter is accentuated with trapezoidal air intakes, adorned with elegant silver trim, embodying both style and functionality.
The side profile of the Song L DM-i exudes simplicity and elegance. Prominent front and rear wheel arches add a dynamic flair, while the B/C pillar is cloaked in black, and the upper window to the D-pillar is adorned with refined silver accents. The vehicle features hidden door handles and rear-window privacy glass for a sleek appearance. At the rear, a continuous light strip and an illuminated 'BYD' logo are standout features, with the lamp chamber's intricate 'Chinese knot' design adding cultural sophistication. Completing the exterior is a two-stage spoiler atop the car and a black and silver rear envelope. The vehicle dimensions are 4780 mm in length, 1898 mm in width, 1670 mm in height, and a wheelbase of 2782 mm.
Inside the Song L DM-i, the design closely mirrors that of the Qin L DM-i. It features a striking high-gloss black trim plate and a large, full-LCD instrument panel embedded in front of the driver. The 112 km variant includes a 12.8-inch adaptive suspension center control screen, while the 160 km model boasts a more impressive 15.6-inch center control screen, offering advanced technological interaction.
At the configuration level, the Song L DM-i 75 km leading model comes richly equipped with an array of both active and passive safety systems, constant speed cruise control, 360-degree panoramic video, tire pressure monitoring, 6-way power adjustment for the main driver seat, angle adjustment for the rear seat backrest, rear privacy glass, VTOL mobile power station, panoramic sunroof, roof rack, in-vehicle ETC, rear air outlet, automatic dual-zone climate control, 6-speaker sound system, and a 3.3 kW AC charging port.
The Song L DM-i 112 km leading model enhances the 75 km variant with the addition of 26 kW DC fast charging, the advanced DiLink 100 intelligent cockpit, 5G vehicular networking, and an 8-speaker audio system, delivering a superior driving experience.
The Song L DM-i 112 km Beyond model elevates the driving experience with the integration of the Dipilot5 intelligent driving system, featuring a forward-looking camera and three millimeter-wave radars. This enables advanced functionalities such as adaptive cruise control, intelligent navigation, traffic sign recognition, automatic emergency braking, collision reminders, blind-spot monitoring, lane departure warnings, and suppression. The Song L DM-i 160 km Over model builds on the 112 km Over variant by incorporating a larger capacity battery pack, extending the pure electric driving range. It supports both 54 kW DC and 6.6 kW AC charging, reducing charging times significantly. Additionally, it features FSD frequency variable damping shock absorbers, intelligent 3D depth-of-field ambient lighting, automatic anti-glare internal mirrors, a PM2.5 green cleaning system, dynamic welcome lights, and newly designed 19-inch low resistance rims, enhancing both comfort and efficiency.
