Despite the vehicle's nearly 2-ton weight due to the battery pack, the chassis provides a smoother ride, effectively absorbing road imperfections. On the track, the car exhibited notable roll at high speeds through corners, with some steering play, indicating it excels in power and response but isn't ideal for aggressive driving. The top-tier model features the E-Four electronic all-wheel-drive system, dynamically adjusting front and rear wheel torque distribution from 100:0 to 20:80 for enhanced control.

In terms of space, the front seat is adjustable to accommodate an editor (178 cm, 160 kg), ensuring ample leg and headroom in the back seat, with commendable seat comfort. Despite being a four-wheel drive, the central platform remains low, comfortably seating three passengers.

 

Powered by an 18.1 KWH ternary lithium battery, the RAV4 Hybrid charges fully in 5 hours with a 16-amp setup or 9.5 hours with an 8-amp setup. The battery pack is backed by a 6-year or 200,000-kilometer warranty. The two-wheel drive version offers a pure electric range of 95 km, while the four-wheel drive version provides 87 km. The 55-liter fuel tank remains unchanged, with an impressive official fuel consumption rate of 1.1 liters per 100 km, achieving a combined driving range exceeding 1100 km.
 

Highlighting its advanced plug-in hybrid system, the RAV4 Dual Engine E+ combines a 2.5-liter Atkinson cycle engine with an electric motor, delivering a maximum power of 225 kW. Accelerating from 0-100 km/h in just 7.4 seconds, it offers a pure electric range of 80 km. For comparison, the Honda CR-V PHEV delivers an 85 km pure electric range with a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 10.3 seconds.
