On May 30, 2024, the highly anticipated new Toyota Crown Kluger Release made its grand debut, unveiling six distinct configuration models. The new iteration boasts refined configurations while maintaining its robust power options, featuring a 2.5-liter hybrid engine and a 2.0T fuel engine. These are paired with an E-CVT electronic stepless transmission and an 8-gear manual self-integrated transmission, respectively, promising a seamless and dynamic driving experience.

The new Crown Kluger Range retains the sleek and sophisticated design of its predecessor and introduces an alluring new Interstellar Blue color option. The dimensions remain consistent with its earlier version, measuring 5015 mm in length, 1930 mm in width, and 1750 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2850 mm. Positioned as a medium-sized SUV, it offers versatile seating configurations, available in both 5-seat and 7-seat layouts to cater to diverse family needs and preferences.

 

 

In terms of configuration, the new Crown Kluger release is generously equipped with advanced features. Standard across all models are mobile phone wireless charging and a digital key. The 2.5-liter hybrid two-drive deluxe version is enhanced with a 10.25-inch center control screen, improved mirror folding, and a distinctive crown print on the seat headrests. The 2.5-liter hybrid all-wheel-drive deluxe edition steps up with a 12.3-inch center control screen, wireless CarPlay, CarLife, Hicar interconnect, and the signature crown print on the headrests.
 

The new Crown Kluger 2.5-liter hybrid four-wheel drive flagship model takes luxury to the next level with an upgraded 8155 on-board chip, electric steering wheel adjustment, sumptuous Nappa leather seats, and crown-printed seat headrests. The 2.0T all-wheel-drive version sees its center control screen upgraded from 8 inches to a generous 12.3 inches, also featuring crown-printed headrests. Adding to its premium feel, wood grain decorations adorn the central armrest, center console, and door details.

Powering the new Crown Kluger are the 2.0T fuel engine and the 2.5L hybrid engine, both delivering impressive performance. The 2.0T fuel engine generates a maximum power of 182 kW and a peak torque of 380 N·m, paired with an 8-speed hand-integrated transmission and a responsive four-wheel drive system. The 2.5L petrol-electric hybrid engine offers a combined system power of 181 kW and a peak system torque of 270 N·m, mated to an E-CVT electronic stepless transmission for smooth and efficient driving.
 

The new generation of Crown Kluger vehicles boasts advanced intelligent configurations, powered by the Qualcomm 8155 chip, supporting vehicle WeChat and 28 applications, as well as CarPlay/HiCar/CarLife mobile wireless interconnectivity. Luxury is elevated with 20-inch bright wheels, 2.0T smoked black cutting wheels, dual Nappa leather seating, and elegant wood grain decor. Comprehensive enhancements in sound insulation and noise reduction have also been implemented, alongside the standard Toyota Pilot advanced intelligent driving.
