The Wildlander boasts a distinctive design, setting itself apart from FAW Toyota's Rongfang. The front fascia features a larger trapezoidal air intake grille reminiscent of Lexus's spindle design. Narrow, squinting headlights add a touch of cold sophistication. The fog lights are similarly styled, enhancing the aggressive front look.
While the front is unconventional, the side and rear of the Wildlander closely resemble the RAV4. Noteworthy differences include a ring-shaped taillight design and a fog light integrated into the rear bumper. Both fuel and hybrid models sport a dual-sided exhaust layout.
The Wildlander's dimensions are competitive, measuring 4665 mm in length, 1855 mm in width, and 1680 mm in height, with a 2690 mm wheelbase. These measurements align closely with the Rongfang, though subtle shape differences exist.
Inside, the Wildlander mirrors the Rongfeng with a multi-linear center console design that offers a clean visual effect and clear functional divisions. The 10.1-inch floating center control screen stands out. Interior color options include both dark and light themes.
The entry-level 2024 Wildlander (2.0-liter CVT two-drive) introduces new front and rear parking sensors and the TSS Toyota Intelligence Safety System, featuring full-speed adaptive cruise, lane-keeping assist, departure warning, and active braking.
Premium models elevate the experience with 360-degree panoramic images, electric rear doors, heated/ventilated front seats, 4G connectivity, mobile app remote control, and a HUD head-up display system.

Under the hood, the Wildlander offers three powertrain options: a 2.0-liter naturally aspirated engine with 126 kW of power and 209 Nm torque paired with a CVT, a 2.5-liter hybrid system with 163 kW and EV mode, and a high-performance 2.5-liter plug-in hybrid system delivering 132 kW engine power, 224 Nm torque, and 134 kW electric motor power matched with an E-CVT.
