Positioned above the Qin PLUS DM-i, this vehicle boasts BYD's cutting-edge fifth generation DM technology, a sophisticated plug-in hybrid system. Simultaneously, the launch also includes the stunning new Seal 06 DM-i from the BYD Ocean Network.
Exterior-wise, the Qin L DM-i carries forward the 'Longyan Design Aesthetics' of the Dynasty Net model, presenting a sleeker, flattened profile. It features a newly styled headlight assembly and striking bright black connecting decorative panels. The expansive front grille, adorned with dot matrix chrome trim and flanked by ventilation slots, amplifies its sporty appeal over the Qin PLUS. With four captivating body colors-Ice Green, Jianyao Purple, Runyu White, and Tea Crystal Grey-the Qin L DM-i offers a palette to match every preference.
From the side, the Qin L DM-i showcases a dynamic two-stage waistline and a gracefully sloping rear design. At the back, a sophisticated through-type light strip complements the newly designed tail lights, which incorporate a 'Chinese knot' motif and a luminous 'BYD' logo. Measuring 4830 mm in length, 1900 mm in width, and 1495 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2790 mm, the Qin L DM-i is significantly larger than the Qin PLUS DM-i, offering enhanced spaciousness and comfort.
Inside, the Qin L DM-i offers an elegant choice of Haoyue Mi and Xuanwu Grey interiors. The streamlined center console features an 8.8-inch full LCD instrument panel with an embedded design. Depending on the model, the floating center console screen is available in 10.1-inch, 12.8-inch, and 15.6-inch sizes, all equipped with the advanced DiLink intelligent networking system.
Under the hood, the Qin L DM-i is powered by BYD's fifth generation DM technology, featuring a highly efficient plug-in hybrid system. This comprises a 1.5-liter engine with maximum power of 74 kW and a drive motor offering peak power options of 120 kW and 160 kW, reaching top speeds of 180 km/h. Equipped with two lithium iron phosphate blade battery options (10.08 kWh and 15.874 kWh), it delivers an impressive pure electric range of 80 km and 120 km under CLTC conditions. The car's fuel efficiency is remarkable, with a combined consumption of just 2.9 liters and 3.08 liters per 100 kilometers under NEDC conditions. Standard features include a front MacPherson and an innovative rear E-type four-link independent suspension.
