On 28 May 2024, the Seal 06 DM-i, BYD Ocean's stunning new mid-sized car, was officially launched. This innovative vehicle features the advanced fifth generation DM-i technology and is available in two pure electric range versions: 80 km and 120 km. The car boasts impressive body dimensions of 4830 mm in length, 1875 mm in width, and 1495 mm in height, with a generous wheelbase of 2790 mm, and optional wheel sizes of 16, 17, and 18 inches. The front design is a masterpiece, integrating diversion fins with a striking 'big mouth' front grille, while the side profile showcases semi-hidden door handles. At the rear, a through-through taillight design with blackened light shells completes the sleek look.

The Seal 06 DM-i shines with a through-through taillight and a revamped interior that proudly displays a light-emitting 'BYD' logo. The rear design echoes the front, featuring a diffuser and body color trim for added elegance. The car is offered in four exquisite colors: Qinhai Green, Warm Smoke Tea, Atlantis Gray, and Snow White.

 

When it comes to endurance, the Seal 06 DM-i is equipped with two versions of lithium iron phosphate blade batteries, offering capacities of 10.08 KWH and 15.874 KWH. Under CLTC conditions, the pure electric ranges are 80 km and 120 km respectively. The comprehensive fuel consumption under NEDC conditions is impressively low at 2.9 liters and 3.08 liters per 100 kilometers. Additionally, the 120km model supports 22 kW DC fast charge and 6.6 kW AC slow charge (with a 7 kW household charging pile included), while the 80km model offers a 3.3 kW AC slow charge option.

In terms of configuration, the Seal 06 DM-i comes equipped with original ETC, 6 airbags, rear air vents, tire pressure monitoring, and more. The 120 km model adds premium features such as a panoramic sunroof, the DiPilot driver assistance system, a remote airbag, and 4-way electric adjustment for the passenger seat. The top-tier model elevates luxury with an 8-speaker system, front seat ventilation/heating, 8-way electric adjustment with memory for the main seat, induction wipers, and a PM2.5 green cleaning system.
 

The Seal 06 DM-i boasts an 8.8-inch full LCD instrument panel and a 15.6-inch rotating entertainment host that supports OTA remote online upgrades, CarPlay, mobile internet functions, and online video viewing. Additional features include a multifunctional steering wheel, ambient lighting, advanced audio, an electronic shift lever, and a wireless charging pad. The electric adjustable leather seats support 8-way adjustments, underscoring the car's commitment to luxury and convenience.

The interior of the Seal 06 DM-i is a showcase of family-style elegance, featuring a D-type multifunction steering wheel, floating LCD instrument, and central control screen, all integrated with the DiLink intelligent network connection system. The central channel function area includes a crystal shift lever that seamlessly integrates automatic parking and driving mode buttons.
