On May 30, 2024, the highly anticipated Toyota Crown Kluger was officially launched, debuting with six distinct configuration models. While the configuration has seen some notable updates, the engine choices remain robust: a 2.5-liter hybrid version and a 2.0T fuel version. These are paired with an E-CVT electronic continuously variable transmission and an 8-speed manual integrated transmission, ensuring smooth and efficient power delivery.

The new Crown Kluger Range maintains the iconic design of its predecessors, now with an exciting new Interstellar Blue body paint option. The dimensions of the vehicle remain consistent with the previous models: 5015 mm in length, 1930 mm in width, and 1750 mm in height, with a 2850 mm wheelbase. This mid-sized SUV offers versatile seating options, available in both 5 and 7-seat configurations, catering to diverse family needs.

 

 

In terms of features, the new Crown Kluger is packed with standard amenities including mobile phone wireless charging and a digital key. The 2.5-liter hybrid two-wheel-drive deluxe version boasts a 10.25-inch center control screen, advanced mirror folding capabilities, and a distinctive crown print on the seat headrests. The all-wheel-drive deluxe edition ups the ante with a 12.3-inch center control screen, seamless wireless CarPlay, CarLife, Hicar interconnectivity, and the same elegant crown print on the headrests.
 

Moreover, the flagship 2.5-liter hybrid four-wheel-drive variant features an upgraded 8155 on-board chip, electric steering wheel adjustment, plush Nappa leather seats, and crown-printed headrests. The 2.0T all-wheel-drive model sees the center control screen upgraded from 8 to 12.3 inches, with additional crown print adornments on the headrests. Fine wood grain details have been added to the central armrest, center console, and door trims, enhancing the luxury feel of the interior.

Under the hood, the new Crown Kluger continues to offer both the 2.0T fuel version and the 2.5L hybrid variant. The 2.0T engine delivers a maximum power of 182 kW and a peak torque of 380 Nm, paired with an 8-speed manual integrated transmission and an advanced four-wheel-drive system. The 2.5-liter hybrid system combines to produce 181 kW of power and 270 Nm of peak torque, with an E-CVT electronic continuously variable transmission ensuring seamless performance.
 

The new generation of Crown Kluger vehicles is intelligently configured with the Qualcomm 8155 chip, supporting in-car WeChat and 28 additional applications, as well as wireless CarPlay/HiCar/CarLife mobile connectivity. Luxury touches include 20-inch bright wheels and 2.0T smoked black cutting wheels, dual Nappa leather seating, and refined wood grain decorations. The vehicle also features over ten comprehensive optimizations for sound insulation and noise reduction, alongside the advanced Toyota Pilot intelligent driving system.

 

The interior design of the new Crown Kluger is a visual feast, boasting rich, soft material wraps and sophisticated wood accents that create a layered aesthetic. The 12.3-inch full LCD dashboard coupled with a 12.3-inch center control screen and a HUD head-up display system centralize vehicle information for an enhanced user experience.
