On May 28, 2024, the Seal 06 DM-i, an elegant mid-sized car from BYD Ocean, was officially launched. This innovative vehicle boasts the fifth generation of DM-i technology, offering two versions with pure electric ranges of 80 km and 120 km. The car's dimensions are 4830 mm in length, 1875 mm in width, and 1495 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2790 mm. Buyers can choose from 16-inch, 17-inch, and 18-inch rims. The front design includes sophisticated diversion fins and a 'big mouth' front grille, while the car's sides feature semi-hidden door handles. The distinctive rear light group adopts a seamless design with blackened light shells, exuding a modern aesthetic.
The Seal 06 DM-i features an integrated through-through taillight with a reimagined interior that includes a luminous 'BYD' logo. The rear design mirrors the front, complemented by a diffuser design and body-colored trim. Available in four stunning colors: Qinhai Green, Warm Smoke Tea, Atlantis Gray, and Snow White, this car is designed to impress.
For endurance, the Seal 06 DM-i comes equipped with two specifications of lithium iron phosphate blade batteries: 10.08 KWH and 15.874 KWH. These provide pure electric ranges of 80 km and 120 km under CLTC conditions, respectively. The comprehensive fuel consumption under NEDC conditions is 2.9 liters per 100 km for the 80 km model and 3.08 liters per 100 km for the 120 km model. The 120 km version supports 22 kW DC fast charging and 6.6 kW AC slow charging (with a 7 kW household charging pile included), while the 80 km model supports 3.3 kW AC slow charging.
In terms of features, the Seal 06 DM-i is well-equipped. Standard features include original ETC, 6 airbags, rear air vents, and tire pressure monitoring. The 120 km model adds a panoramic sunroof, DiPilot driver assistance system, remote airbag, 4-way electric adjustment for the passenger seat, and a car tachorecorder. The top model offers an 8-speaker system, ventilated/heated front seats, 8-way electric adjustment with memory for the main seat, induction wipers, and a PM2.5 green cleaning system, among other premium features.
Inside, the Seal 06 DM-i shines with an 8.8-inch full LCD instrument panel and a 15.6-inch rotating entertainment host. This system supports OTA remote online upgrades, CarPlay, mobile internet functions, and online video viewing. Additional features include a multifunctional steering wheel, ambient lighting, advanced audio system, electronic shift lever, wireless charging pad, and electric adjustable leather seats with 8-way electric adjustment, affirming the model's sincere commitment to luxury and convenience.
The interior design follows a family style, featuring a D-type multifunction steering wheel, floating LCD instrument, and central control screen. The built-in DiLink intelligent network connection system enhances connectivity.
