On May 28, 2024, the Seal 06 DM-i, a groundbreaking mid-sized car from BYD Ocean, was officially unveiled. This innovative vehicle features the fifth generation of DM-i technology and offers two distinct pure electric range options: 80 km and 120 km. The car boasts impressive dimensions of 4830 mm in length, 1875 mm in width, and 1495 mm in height, with a generous wheelbase of 2790 mm. Available with 16-inch, 17-inch, and 18-inch rims, the Seal 06 DM-i showcases a striking front design with diversion fins and a large mouth grille, semi-hidden door handles on the sides, and a sleek rear light group with a blackened shell.

The Seal 06 DM-i stands out with a through-through taillight and a redesigned interior featuring a light-emitting 'BYD' logo. The rear design harmonizes with the front, incorporating a stylish diffuser and body color trim. Available in four stunning colors: Qinhai Green, Warm Smoke Tea, Atlantis Gray, and Snow White, this car makes a powerful statement on the road.

 

The Seal 06 DM-i is equipped with two specifications of lithium iron phosphate blade batteries, offering capacities of 10.08 KWH and 15.874 KWH. The corresponding pure electric ranges under CLTC conditions are 80 km and 120 km respectively. The comprehensive fuel consumption under NEDC conditions is 2.9 liters/100 km and 3.08 liters/100 km. The 120 km model supports 22 kW DC fast charging and 6.6 kW AC slow charging (7 kW household charging pile included), while the 80 km model provides 3.3 kW AC slow charging.

The Seal 06 DM-i comes with an extensive range of configurations, including original ETC, 6 airbags, rear outlet, and tire pressure monitoring. The 120 km model adds a panoramic sunroof, DiPilot driver assistance system, remote airbag, 4-way electric passenger seat adjustment, and an in-car tachorecorder. The top model further enhances the experience with an 8-speaker system, ventilated/heated front seats, 8-way electric adjustment with memory for the main seat, induction wipers, and a PM2.5 green cleaning system.
 

Inside, the Seal 06 DM-i exudes luxury with an 8.8-inch full LCD instrument panel and a 15.6-inch rotating entertainment host (supporting OTA remote online upgrades, CarPlay, mobile Internet functions, and online video viewing). The multi-functional steering wheel, ambient lighting, advanced audio system, electronic shift lever, Wireless Charging Pad, and electric adjustable leather seats (with 8-way electric adjustment) make every drive a pleasure.

The interior design adopts a family style, featuring a D-type multi-function steering wheel, a floating LCD instrument panel, and a central control screen. Built-in with the DiLink intelligent network connection system, the central channel function area includes a crystal shift lever that integrates automatic parking and driving mode buttons for a seamless driving experience.

 

Safety is paramount with the Seal 06 DM-i, which is equipped with advanced active safety features such as automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning, lane departure assistance, side blind spot detection, active cruise control, and a 360-degree camera with recording functionality, ensuring a high level of safety for all occupants.
