Recently, GAC Toyota unveiled the highly-anticipated 2024 Toyota Wildlander.This Hybrid Electric Car 5-Door SUV stands out with its unique design and advanced features.The model lineup includes a total of 11 distinct configurations.
When it comes to design, the Wildlander sports a striking, unique look that distinctly sets it apart from its sibling, the FAW Toyota Rongfang. The most notable difference lies in the front fascia; although both models feature a trapezoidal air intake grille, the Wildlander's is considerably larger, evoking the Lexus spindle grille. Additionally, its narrowed, 'squinting' headlights exude a cold, sharp demeanor. The fog lights also boast a larger imitation air intake design, adding to the vehicle's bold aesthetic.
While the front design is bold and unconventional, the side and rear profiles show more resemblance to the RAV4. A key distinguishing feature is the unique ring-shaped taillight design, along with the addition of a fog light on the lower rear bumper. Both fuel and hybrid versions sport a dual-sided exhaust layout, enhancing the SUV's robust appeal.
In terms of dimensions, the Wildlander measures 4665 mm in length, 1855 mm in width, and 1680 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2690 mm. The high-performance plug-in hybrid variant features a 2.5-liter engine with 132 kW and 224 Nm, plus an electric motor generating 134 kW and 270 Nm, all mated to an E-CVT transmission.
