On 28 May 2024, the highly-anticipated Seal 06 DM-i, a stellar mid-sized car from BYD Ocean, was officially unveiled. This marvel of automotive engineering harnesses the state-of-the-art fifth-generation DM-i technology, available in two impressive pure electric range options of 80 km and 120 km. With body dimensions of 4830 mm in length, 1875 mm in width, and 1495 mm in height, coupled with a wheelbase of 2790 mm, this car offers a spacious and comfortable ride. The choice of 16-inch, 17-inch, and 18-inch rims ensures you find the perfect style for your needs. The front features an innovative design with integrated diversion fins and a striking 'big mouth' front grille. On the side, semi-hidden door handles add a sleek touch, while the rear boasts a through-through light group with a chic blackened shell.

The Seal 06 DM-i stands out with its through-through taillight and an interior redesign that includes an illuminating 'BYD' logo. The rear design harmonizes perfectly with the front, featuring a stylish diffuser and body color trim. Under CLTC conditions, these provide pure electric ranges of 80 km and 120 km respectively. The comprehensive fuel consumption for 100 kilometers under NEDC conditions is an economical 2.9 liters and 3.08 liters, respectively. For the 120km model, 22 kW DC fast charge and 6.6 kW AC slow charge options are provided, along with a 7 kW household charging pile. The 80km model comes with a 3.3 kW AC slow charge option.

The Seal 06 DM-i is packed with an impressive array of configurations. Standard features include original ETC, 6 airbags, rear outlet, and tire pressure monitoring. The 120 km model elevates the experience with a panoramic sunroof, DiPilot driver assistance system, remote airbag, 4-way electric adjustment for the passenger seat, and a car tachorecorder. The top-tier model takes luxury to the next level with an 8-speaker system, front seat ventilation and heating, 8-way electric adjustment with memory for the main seat, induction wipers, and a PM2.5 green cleaning system.
