Sporting a unique and eye-catching design, the Wildlander distinguishes itself from its sibling, the FAW Toyota Rongfang. The standout feature is its front fascia, which, although it shares a trapezoidal air intake grille, is larger and exudes a Lexus-inspired spindle grille aesthetic. Wildlander's headlights are sleek, narrow, and exude a sharp, 'squinting' coldness. Additionally, the fog lights incorporate a larger, imitation air intake design, enhancing its bold stance.
While the front design is 'unconventional,' the Wildlander's side and tail design show fewer differences from the RAV4. Notably, the taillights' internal layout forms a distinct ring, and the rear bumper features an added fog light. Both fuel and hybrid models boast a dual-sided exhaust layout.
Measuring 4665 mm in length, 1855 mm in width, and 1680 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2690 mm, the Wildlander's dimensions are on par with mainstream market standards, closely mirroring the size of the Rongfang albeit with slight variations due to design differences.
Stepping inside, the Wildlander's interior mirrors that of the Rongfeng, featuring a multi-linear center console design that is both visually simple and functionally intuitive. A standout feature is the 10.1-inch floating center control screen. The interior is available in both dark and light color schemes to suit different tastes.
The entry-level 2024 Toyota Wildlander (2.0-liter CVT two-drive lead) comes packed with enhanced features such as new front and rear parking radar, and the TSS Toyota Intelligence Safety System, which includes full-speed adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist/departure warning, active braking, and more.

The fuel version features a 2.0-liter engine delivering 126 kW of power and 209 Nm of torque, paired with a CVT transmission. The 2.5-liter hybrid system offers 163 kW of power, EV pure electric mode, and an E-Four four-wheel-drive system. The high-performance plug-in hybrid version boasts a 2.5-liter engine with 132 kW of power and 224 Nm of torque, plus an electric motor delivering 134 kW and 270 Nm, mated to an E-CVT transmission.
