Wildlander

In terms of design, the Wildlander boasts a unique aesthetic to differentiate itself from its sibling, the FAW Toyota Rongfang. The most notable contrast lies in the front fascia design. While both feature a trapezoidal air intake grille, the Wildlander's grille is grander, reminiscent of a Lexus spindle design. Additionally, the Wildlander's headlights are sleek and narrow, giving it a striking, 'squinting' look. The fog lights are designed with a larger imitation air intake, adding to its bold appearance.
Unlike the dramatic transformation of the front, the side and rear profiles of the Wildlander share similarities with the RAV4. The taillights feature a distinctive ring design, and the rear bumper is enhanced with a fog light at the lower end. Both fuel and hybrid models employ a sophisticated dual exhaust layout, underscoring their modern edge.
The Veranda measures an impressive 4665 mm in length, 1855 mm in width, and 1680 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2690 mm. These dimensions place it firmly within the mainstream segment, comparable to the size of the Rongfang, though subtly distinct due to its unique design.
Inside the cabin, the Wildlander's interior design mirrors that of the Rongfeng. The dashboard features a multi-linear design, offering a clean and organized visual effect. A standout feature is the 10.1-inch floating center control screen. Interior color options include both dark and light versions, catering to diverse tastes.
The entry-level 2024 Toyota Wildlander (2.0-liter CVT two-drive lead) comes equipped with essential features, including front and rear parking radar and the TSS Toyota Intelligent Safety System. This suite offers full-speed adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, departure warning, active braking, and more.
The premium version of the 2024 Toyota Wildlander ups the ante with luxurious amenities like 360-degree panoramic cameras, electric rear doors, heated and ventilated front seats, 4G connectivity, mobile app remote control, and an advanced HUD head-up display system.
Safety is a cornerstone of the Wildlander's design, featuring standard 7 SRS airbags across all models, including those with lower configurations. The latest Toyota TSS (Toyota Safety System) version 2.0 technology further enhances its safety credentials. Three robust powertrains are available for the Wildlander: a 2.0-liter naturally aspirated engine, a 2.5-liter gas-electric hybrid, and a 2.5-liter plug-in hybrid. The fuel version delivers 126 kW power and 209 Nm torque via a CVT transmission. The hybrid system offers 163 kW power and includes an EV mode with E-Four all-wheel drive. The high-performance plug-in hybrid provides a combined engine power of 132 kW, an electric motor power of 134 kW, and a maximum torque of 270 Nm, all managed by an E-CVT transmission.
